n october 2010 Gudy and John cycled in Azerbaijan.
First to Quba an Xinaliq in the northern Caucasus.
Then the Silk Route on the southern side of the Caucasus.
Azerbaijans roads are mostly quiet sometimes potholed, but comfortable for a bicycle trip.
Nature is great, high altitude mountains, oak forests, semi desserts and loads of country roads. Some roads, especially in the northern Caucasus are very steep.
