This film is a celebration of a glorious building and the people that occupy it. The idea stemmed from a member of staff who couldn't resist the lure of riding his bicycle over parquet floors and oak panneled corridors in a grade 2 listed grammer school. The idea of a film became more poingnent with threats of the building closing down, departments disbanding and subsequent redundancies. The film has become an alternative to the traditional staff photograph to serve as a reminder of the characters who worked at South East Derbyshire College and their relationships with the building.
During the making of the film, rumers of redundancies and building closure were confirmed. No Regrets.
